The aim of this training course is to enable those working in the field of health improvement to better meet the needs of ethnic minority groups and individuals. By the end of the course, participants will have:

An increased understanding of how to engage effectively with ethnic minority groups and individuals
-
An increased awareness of health issues particularly relevant to people from different ethnic minority backgrounds
-
An appreciation of how to ensure equitable access to services.
The course will offer an insight into the main ethnic minority communities and groups in Fife.
Who should apply?
This training course is free of charge and open to all NHS, Local Authority and voluntary sector staff who have a professional interest in health improvement.
